Stamping (container) relating to the Container Safety Ordinance

コンテンツ
Reference Clauses of the Act : Art. 45

When a container has passed a container inspection, the person conducting the container inspection shall stamp the matters prescribed by the Container Safety Ordinance in their order clearly and indelibly at a visible point on a thick part of that container, in order to indicate that the container has passed the container inspection and to clarify necessary information for conducting an appropriate container reinspection or appropriate filling of the container.

Moreover, when it is difficult to stamp the matters on a container, a marking Plate shall be attached to the container instead of stamping. Regarding a marking Plate, a thin plate on which the matters prescribed by the Container Safety Ordinance are stamped in their order shall be welded or soldered onto a shoulder or other visible part of a container, or a label on which those matters are marked in their order shall be attached to a shoulder or other visible part of a container depending on the variety of the container. Stamps and the marking plates are collectively referred to as “Stamping or Marking Plate.”
